Joshua Garrett, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Joshua Garrett started Integrity Eye Care, PC in 2006 with the idea to give every patient the highest quality of care with compassion and concern. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Garrett furthered his knowledge and experience by completing an ocular disease residency at the Memphis Veterans Administration Hospital. He is a member of the Middle TN Association of Optometric Physicians, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Garrett and his wife, Barbara, are members of the New Vision Baptist Church. They spend most of their free time chasing down their two adorable daughters, Annslee and Savannah. They love to get involved in the community and support charities as much as possible! Dr. Garrett loves to seek out new restaurants and get away to the golf course whenever time permits.
Andrea Wilhoite, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Andrea Wilhoite earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Morehead State University in Kentucky before completing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. Since then, she has been dedicated to providing exceptional primary eye care services to patients in Middle Tennessee.
Dr. Wilhoite is a member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the local food scene, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. Dr. Wilhoite lives in Murfreesboro with her husband, Jacob, and their dog, Sadie.

MHSeptember 14, 2026I have been a patient of Dr. Garrett for over 6 years and could not imagine going elsewhere for my eye care needs. He is thorough, responsive, and attentive to my needs. When I first started seeing Dr. G., my prescription was a lot higher than it is now. Over the years, he’s been able to tweak some changes and allow my vision to actually improve. Anytime I have a new prescription or change to my brand of contacts, he encourages me to try them out and see how they are until I’m 100% comfortable. I feel respected because my plan of care is individualized to my needs and not just a generic patient plan. Also, the office is clean, modern, and always decorated seasonally, it feels nice to be there. The staff members are professional and courteous and always helpful. I am editing my review even though years later, nothing has change with my thoughts on integrity. Dr. Garrett is absolutely awesome and I met his tech, Mila. Once again, nervous at my appt, Mila did everything in her power to make me feel comfortable, she is highly educated, and them as a team - changed my entire experience yesterday! Dr. Garrett is professional but warm, and he addressed and explained all of my concerns and conditions. I really appreciate that this practice makes the latest technology available, including the option to evaluate the health of the eyes without dilation. Even though insurance doesn't cover it, it's worth the $29 out-of-pocket to me to do this. Jim, the optician who's most often assisted me, remembers even small details, even though he sees me only once a year. There's a wide variety of stylish frames available, including for kids, and lenses are also offered in a variety of materials, which is wonderful when you have a heavier prescription.
